The IVP Business Unit was originally called I.V. Pressure Controllers Ltd. The name was derived from its experience and knowledge of Infinitely Variable Control of Pressures. The I.V. Pressure Controllers Ltd. was formed in 1951 and quickly achieved recognition as designers and manufacturers of high pressure valves of high quality for many applications in many different markets.
IVP became part of the Thompson Valves portfolio in the early 1980’s and has continued to design and manufacture products for both niche, naval and industrial markets.
